7 Ways How the Arts Improved Academic Skills

Do you know that children who are involved in the arts generally perform Mathematics, Science, and Language tasks better in school?  Let's take a look at 7 ways how the arts can develop the academic abilities of our children.

Our children can learn so much by being immersed in the arts. This process is less understood by many people because we are so familiar with the academic subjects taught in school. Join in this conversation on how we can help our children understand and use important 21st century skills by participating in the arts.

How Art Develops Multiple Intelligence in Children

Do you know that multiple intelligence and the arts are very critical in children’s development? As children participate in the arts, they learn important 21st century skills that are critical for their success in the years ahead of them. Many of these skills may not be explicitly taught in schools but are critical to ensure that our children are future ready.

Sharon is an educator at heart. She had taught in the preschool, primary and secondary schools before she moved to develop multimedia and e-learning resources for students of all ages. She was the principal of Barker Road Methodist Church Kindergarten and had worked with students to put seemingly unconnected things together – doing art and learning science, mathematics and technology concepts all at the same time. She is a firm believer that a good curriculum can go a long way to develop students wholistically and equipping them with critical 21st century skills.

Come join in this free talk by Sharon Ngoi and find out how we, as parents, can do something to help our children be future-ready. Do email us any question you have in advance that you wish Sharon to speak about.
